ABOUT US
Our organization is comprised of high school and middle school band directors from within KMEA's second district. Our district encompasses Daviess, Hancock, Henderson, Hopkins, McLean, Ohio, Union and Webster counties.
Each year, the SDBDA hosts an All-District Band for Middle and High School Band Students. Annually, KMEA hosts a Second District Concert Band Festival where schools from our district and others are adjudicated in concert performance, and a Solo and Ensemble Festival that allows our students the chance to perform alone and in small groups.
